Two properties in Selma, Oregon, raided for illegal marijuana today | News

Members of the Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team (JMET), and Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE), were up early serving a warrant in Selma Wednesday morning.

The two properties served were in the 900 and 2,300 blocks of Thompson Creek Road. There, law enforcement personel found approximately 22,000 marijuan plants, $11,000 in cash, 34 greenhouses, a pump siphoning water from a nearby creek, and 32 year-old Juan Valdovinos Tafolla, who was arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail for Unlawful Manufacturing of Marijuana, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Unlawful Use or Appropriation of Water.

During the raid, seven individuals were detained, and the plants were destroyed.

The investigation is ongoing.
