Marijuana, Handgun Found During Overnight Arrest | KLIN

Lincoln Police spotted a man with known outstanding warrants abound 1:45 a.m. Thursday, July 28th near 11th and M Street.

As officers were taking 26 year old Jack Freriks into custody, he tried to run. Freriks was safely taken into custody.

On the floor where Jack was sitting, officers found more than 170 grams of marijuana in four separate bags and a .45 caliber handgun.

Freriks was cited and lodged for 2nd offense resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana.

The outstanding warrants were for disturbing the peace, failure to appear, and trespassing.
